Kindled Raine began with a moment.

In 2025, a fragrance unexpectedly transported me back to Christmases from years gone by.  The feeling of a busy house filled with family, laughter, tradition, and togetherness. It wasn't just a scent; it was a memory brought vividly back to life.

That experience made me realize how powerful fragrance can be. Scent has a unique ability to connect us to people, places, and moments that have shaped our lives. A familiar fragrance can remind us of a grandmother's perfume, a mother's hand lotion, a dear friend, or a chapter of life that still holds a special place in our hearts.

As I began creating candles, I found myself experiencing this time and again. Reminders of travels, summer nights by the fire, Saturday morning cartoons, and the moments that become part of who we are.

When I became a grandmother, I started thinking about the memories we create today and the traditions we pass on to future generations. I wanted to create something that could capture those feelings and inspire new memories of our own. My two little helpers have become my best critics, from enthusiastic "mmm's" to unmistakable "yuck." They never fail to tell me exactly what they think of a scent.

That's why Kindled Raine exists.
